Philosophy
My teaching approach aims to develop critical and cultural thinking rather than simply providing a tool for visual production. I encourage students to view design within broader systems—technological, social, and economic—and to develop the ability to identify problems before attempting to solve them.
What students learn
Rather than focusing exclusively on technical execution, my courses emphasize the development of analytical and conceptual skills. Students learn to:
• frame complex problems
• conduct visual and cultural research
• translate theoretical insights into design propositions
